Product Description

The ICS-4000 isotope identifier is an easy to use field-portable gamma ray spectrometer, suitable for a variety of field survey and analysis applications. A sensitive Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) detector, 4000 channel multichannel analyzer and powerful microprocessor are combined to allow sophisticated laboratory-grade analysis in the field. This instrument automatically identifies and classifies 160 radionuclides as Naturally Occuring Radioactive Material (NORM), Medical, Industrial or Special Nuclear Material.

  • Wide Dynamic Range - Performs identification in background radiation levels as low as 50 R/h and as high as 1 R/h.

  • CdTe Detector - Offers superior resolution and efficiency. The directional detector locates the exact source of the radiation, even in elevated background environments.
